Membership

Joining is simple — and you own the place

Every member is an owner. There are no outside shareholders, so earnings come back to members.

Who can join

Chartered in 1959, we serve the employees, students and family members of:

  • Widefield School District 3
  • Fountain-Ft. Carson School District 8
  • Hanover School District 28
  • Fountain Valley School
  • Fountain Sanitation District
  • Pikes Peak BOCES
  • Security Public Library
  • Security Water & Sanitation District
  • Waste Systems Inc.
  • Widefield Water and Sanitation District

Once you're a member, you stay a member — even if you change jobs or move. Family members of current members are eligible too.

How to open an account

    Check that you're eligible

    If you work at, attend, or are related to someone at one of the groups listed below, you can join.

    Bring your ID

    A government-issued photo ID and your Social Security number. Students under 18 should come with a parent or guardian.

  3. 3

    Open your share account

    A small deposit establishes your membership and makes you a part-owner of the credit union — $50 for adults, $50 minimum for youth savings.

  4. 4

    Set up online banking

    We'll get you signed in to online and mobile banking before you leave the branch.
